Edward October founded Octoberpod over 2 years ago, as a way to create a venue for telling the tales he wanted to tell. Spooky stories that were true, dark fiction with the ring if truth, and horror classics...all presented in retro/vintage format inspired by old time radio and found footage. Since then Octoberpod has branched off into a YouTube channel with a small but loyal following of bold individualists that often showcases new talent (writers, narrators, illustrators)
At the close of Octoberpod's first year, Ed collaborated with artist Nic Calavera to illustrate narration of Poe's Hop Frog. This episode received a Rondo Hatton Award nomination for best short film. Ed and Nic continued to collaborate, producing OctoberDream, a horror/comedy web comic.
